Coming Events

November 2, 2008

We’re going to be airing a couple of pieces focusing on local issues soon.

Mike Dunlap, Washington County Commissioner, and Luwana Brewster, concerned citizen of Bartlesville, will be discussing the Washington County Jail vote on 103.9 KVBL at 8:00 AM on Nov. 3rd. That talk will then be broadcast on Channel 59 at 7 PM the same day.

A few days later, Tri-City TV will be broadcasting the Oct 28th meeting of the Bartlesville Area League of Women Voters. The meeting concerns the Open Meeting and Records Acts, and features Joey Senat, PhD with the School of Journalism and Broadcasting at OSU. You can catch that at 8 PM on Nov. 6th on Channel 59.

Just two more ways Channel 59 is bringing local issues that you care about to the Tri-City area.

Sneak Peek

October 21, 2008

I wanted to take a moment to give our viewers a sneak peek behind the curtain and post some photos of our studio.

Here’s the view from our parking lot:

Here’s a shot of the sound booth for our event center. The photo is a little blurry, but that’s probably because the sound booth is on a rolling platform that’s always moving, moving, moving!:

Here’s our stage area, used for concerts, church services, presentations, whatever the need:

This is our studio area, with multiple cameras, lighting, and plenty of space to set up anything you need. Check out that green screen! That’s what allows us to add any background you choose to the video.

Here’s our fancy sign, letting folks driving down Highway 75 know what’s going on at Tri-City TV:

Don’t forget that Tri-City TV is a community television station, meaning you too can be on Channel 59! Do you have a talent? A skill? An unusual ability? Do you just have something to say, and want to reach everyone in the Tri-City area? 20$ gets you 15 minutes of studio time, and up to four minutes of air time, no advertising. We’re going worldwide!

October 17, 2008

A lot has happened since this blog was started. We’re up and running on cable channel 59, and the response has been phenomenal! So much so that we’re going to start streaming our broadcasts on the web. What does that mean for our viewers? You have one more way to watch the quality programming we’ve been delivering the past few months, and folks not in Northeast Oklahoma can get a little taste of what this part of the world has to offer. It’s an exciting opportunity for Tri-City TV, but it’s an even bigger opportunity for businesses and individuals who want to be a part of our great community television station. Advertisers, local filmmakers, businesses, when you buy air time for our cable channel, your message also gets streamed live, around the world, on the internet. That means more eyes on what you have to offer!

So check out our video website, and for more information, contact Suzan at administrator@tricitytv.net, or call at 918-335-0079
